Anne-Marie graduated from The University of Brighton in 2001 with a BSC (HONS) in Physiotherapy. Since this time she has worked in the UK in the NHS and locally as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and also with adults with neurological conditions. She has a special interest in hypermobility syndromes and foot function.
Anne-Marie is a member of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists), the HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council), the AFAP (Association of Foot and Ankle Physiotherapists and AHPs) and The CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
Anne-Marie incorporates her Physiotherapy Pilates training into her physiotherapy practice. In addition she offers 1:1 sessions for anyone wanting to work on improving their body biomechanics.
Anne-Marie understands the recovery process having gone through a lengthy period of rehabilitation herself. She feels that this gives her a better knowledge of the complex issues surrounding illness and particularly the importance of breath work and relaxation in finding some calm and inner peace.
